Meet the Dogs of I Heart Animal Rescue in Fort Lauderdale

Dog photo session at iHeart Animal Rescue, featuring adoptable dogs posing for professional portraits by Mr. Paw Portraits in Fort Lauderdale.

I recently visited I Heart Animal Rescue in Southwest Ranches to photograph their incredible dogs. These pups are full of heart and ready for forever homes. As a Fort Lauderdale pet photographer, I’m thrilled to share their stories through Mr. Paw Portraits—and if you book a session in May 2025, I’ll donate a portion to help these animals!

Why I Heart Animal Rescue Shines

A Fort Lauderdale Lifeline for Pets

I Heart Animal Rescue in Southwest Ranches is a game-changer. Their mission? Finding Animal Companions A Forever Home, Helping Animals In Need of Medical Assistance, and Pulling Animals From Local Animal Shelters. They’ve saved thousands of dogs and cats, taking in those other shelters can’t—like abused pups or cats missing limbs. Owner Cindy told me, “We give every animal a shot, no matter how tough their story.” Their big field lets dogs like Dozer sprint daily, keeping their spirits high. They’re not perfect—no shelter is—but their heart for Fort Lauderdale’s toughest cases is unmatched.
